A: Yes, applications can be submitted online through the Expatriate Service Division (ESD) system as per standard practice. However, as the MCO is in effect, there will be no decisions made on applications until further notice.

Q: On behalf of applicants, what can be done for those whose passes are expiring soon? How can one proceed with pass Endorsement/ Transfer of Endorsement/ Special Pass/ Cancellation/ Permission to Study?

Q: I have an emergency where I need to exit Malaysia as soon as possible. How can I proceed?

A: All Immigration Department offices are closed during the MCO period. However, expatriates are allowed to leave the country. Please contact your respective embassies for further details.

Q: How can physical documents for online amendment/ online cancellation/ appeal or document sighting be submitted to MYXpats Centre?
A: These services will be put on hold until further notice.

Q: If an applicant’s passport is currently at MYXpats Centre, how do I retrieve the passport for the applicant?

A: Currently, all scheduled meetings and appointments with MYXpats are postponed until further notice.

A: Applications will be processed accordingly. However, all approvals and final decisions may be delayed.
