The Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) has recommended for the movement control order (MCO) to be extended until April 28 to ensure a sustained zero Covid-19 cases in Malaysia. 馬來(lái)西亞經(jīng)濟(jì)研究所建議封國(guó)至4月28日，目的是為了一次性把新冠確診新增滅到零增長(zhǎng)，所以這可真是今年的王炸了，如果這個(gè)建議被大馬最高層采納，那么這個(gè)經(jīng)濟(jì)代價(jià)肯定就不會(huì)小，非常之不容易。馬來(lái)西亞經(jīng)濟(jì)研究所是馬來(lái)西亞政府和經(jīng)濟(jì)領(lǐng)域的智囊團(tuán)機(jī)構(gòu)，相當(dāng)于國(guó)內(nèi)的政研室之類的存在，所以該所出來(lái)這樣的建議未必是會(huì)空穴來(lái)風(fēng)，那么就要看14號(hào)之前的新增確診是否能有效降低了。
The institute made this recommendation in a posting on its official Twitter account today, with an attached copy of an extract from a MIER analysis of the pandemic’s trajectory, dated March this year. “Based on this, an extended MCO of minimum 14 days till April 14 to allow for no new cases reported, or a maximum 29 days till April 28 to include an additional 14 days to ensure a sustained zero-case presentation,” the extract read.
